Michael Hutton

Michael Hutton started loving airplanes as a teenager, if not sooner.

In high school, Michael was member of the Civil Air Patrol and graduated from a CAP flight school where he solo piloted an airplane at age 16.

After high school he entered into a 10-year law enforcement career spending most of his time as the Drug Recognition and Enforcement expert for Ridgeland Police Department.

He received multiple awards and had 500 DUI arrests.

At age 30 he traded his badge for wings when he gained his Private Pilot’s License.

Michael continues to train and add hours to his logbook with the immediate goal being to attain his commercial license and become a certified flight instructor.

Steve Hutton

Steve Hutton first took a flying lesson at age 12.  He still remembers the tail number as N18545.  Steve’s passion during high school however was golf, and he never pursued flying as a career.  Instead, he became a PGA Professional and over his 20-year golf career managed golf courses in Mississippi and Louisiana.

For seven years he served as tournament director for Mississippi’s PGA TOUR event, now titled the Sanderson Farms Championship.  He later founded and owned Momentum Events, creating and conducting large scale Christian events in mega churches across the southeastern U.S.

He also served as Vice President of Field Ministry at Promise Keepers.  Now semi-retired, Steve is training alongside Michael with the immediate goal being to attain his private pilot’s license.
